a. Issue One: Introduction

Welcome to the first official issue of metroblossom. While I've run metroblossom as my personal site for the past three years, I've always wanted it to be a collaborative space. The five galleries before you are the first step in that direction.

Because this is an exploratory issue, there is no theme or special subject matter common to these five groupings of material, other than that which is common to all expression on metroblossom. What is present is work by photographers, painters, musicians and sociologists, all of whose interests are obviously much larger than their disciplinary titles.
